ADMISSION
European citizens, non-EU citizens in Italy with a current, valid “permesso di soggiorno” (residence permit) and natives of Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Lichtenstein can apply to the university.
Non-EU citizens who are residents abroad must submit a pre-application request to the Italian Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence.
Graduates who wish to apply for a doctoral program or a medical specialization school must follow the instructions in the competitive examination announcements.

Special funding and scholarships
The University of Milan believes in getting the best out of young talent, and offers special incentive programs aimed at supporting highly gifted students.
The Excellence Scholarships program is particularly aimed at international students. The program offers 100 incentive grants to the newly enrolled best international students at master’s level. The incentives include 50 scholarships of 6,000€ plus enrollment fee exemption.

FACILITIES
The University of Milan’s main campus is located in the old “Ca’ Granda”, a striking historical complex in the heart of Milan. The university’s other campuses are located in historic buildings and modern structures that are situated in both the city center and the university district which were built in the 1920’s, and is known as “Città Studi”.
