York University Campus and Accommodations

The institution is spread across three university campuses spread across Ontario, namely Keele, Glendon, and Markham. Keele Campus is the primary campus of the institute and is located in the northern city of Toronto. Keele campus is like an independent community housing around 6,000 graduates and 46,000 undergraduates. With modern facilities and endless opportunities, it is a site of personal and professional development. Most of the university’s faculties like Business, Law, Fine Arts, Education, Engineering, among others are located at the Keele Campus.

Glendon Campus is a bilingual campus of the institute located in central Southern Ontario. It is in fact the only university campus in the whole of Canada that requires its students to take up programs in both English and French.

Markham Campus is situated near Highway 407 in partnership with Seneca College and is still under construction. The campus is expected to open from the fall 2023 session. The university’s library is fully equipped with all the essentials for education including thousands of books, journals, computers, and wifi. All the e-journals and e-books can be accessed online by the students.

York University Accommodation

The university houses over 4,000 students in its 10 residencies spread across its Keele and Glendon campuses. Available options include single and double rooms in campus dormitories. Students over 21 years of age can also avail of the alternative personal suites. Meal facilities in the residencies and in form of restaurants/ cafeterias are available on campus.
