Why Study in Alexander College


Alexander College is a private post-secondary institution serving approximately 3,000 students every year. Alexander College offers a variety of undergraduate degree and transfer programs [see Programs] including University Transfer, Associate of Arts degree and Associate of Science degree. An integrated English for Academic Purposes program is also available to assist non-native English speakers with their transition to university level studies in the English language.

Alexander College is recognized and accredited by the BC Ministry of Advanced Education, Degree Quality Assurance Board (DQAB), BC Education Quality Assurance (EQA) program, and is a proud participant in the BC Transfer System, organized by the BC Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT). The academic year has four terms: Fall (Sept-Dec), Winter (Jan-Apr), Spring (May-July) and Summer intensive (July-Aug)

Alexander College Campuses


Alexander College operates two campuses located in the urban centres of Burnaby and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Alexander College’s Vancouver Campus is located in the centre of downtown Vancouver on the corner of Seymour and Hastings Street. The Vancouver campus is steps away from the major shopping, entertainment districts and major tourist attractions. It’s also one block away from the Vancouver Waterfront Skytrain.

Alexander College’s Burnaby Campus is located on the corner of McMurray Ave and Kingsway. It is one block from one of the largest shopping centres in Canada, Metrotown Shopping Centre. The Burnaby campus is also conveniently located one block from the Metrotown Skytrain Station.

The eligibility requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Alexander College are as follows:

The candidates should have completed secondary education

GPA requirements depend on the candidate’s competency

Legal students permit to study in Canada

The candidates should be 16+ years of age

Indian Eligibility Requirements


Indian students are required to complete Grade 12 for admission to the university. The basic structure is three years of secondary education (Grade 8-10) and two years of senior secondary education (Grade 11-12). Students must have covered the academic and vocational courses. Candidates who have covered both the courses can choose from three possible streams, i.e., Humanities, Business, and Science.
